Dunolly has a large number of local artists and to assist with their workload the community has a new Arts Hub.
The Hub is the former Scout Hall, which was officially first opened during the 1956 Back to Dunolly Reunion on March 30, 1956, at 2.30pm (followed by a band recital).
The official opening of the new Arts Hub will be held on 7th October at 11am.
Situated on the corner of Thomson and Alice Sts., the new Dunolly Arts Hub over the first five months of 2016 was refurbished by a band of willing volunteers.
They worked very hard to make the hall into a fabulous Art studio that is suitable for all artists over a range of mediums.
The Art group meets at the hub every Tuesday from 10am.
Bring your own supplies and lunch if you intend to stay all day.
Membership fees are $20 per financial year ending 30 June, and $5 per session.
These fees will help to keep the studio in tip top condition and pay the bills.
So if you are a budding artist, become a member of the Dunolly Art Group
